The new SimCity 2013 Review!

So some of you may not be aware (considering there was literally no advertising at all) that the new SimCity just came out! I never played much of the earlier SimCitys, but I'm glad I picked up this one! the realtime strategy system of this game works great, however, sometimes I feel it lags behind what I do. The game will always give you tips of what zones you need (commercial, residential, or industrial), and say the game tells me I should probably put in more industrial zones, after I do, it takes a few minutes to realize I did put in more industrial and change its tip. A slight annoyance, but not too bad. The game has what are called regions. Regions are basically like states, as they contain the cities you make. There are about 10 different regions you can choose from, and I'm guessing there will eventually be more as DLC. Disappointingly, you cannot make your own regions, just choose from the templates and rename them. All the cities within the regions are connected, such as one city sending their trash collectors over to another city, allowing the receiving city to not have to buy their own trash collecting service, and in return, they pay the city who sent their services over. Its not just trash services though, most services in the game can be sent to another city. Workers can also commute to other cities for work, and if you have good tourist attractions, Sims from other cities will visit your city, making even more profit. SimCity did a great job with the multiplayer aspect of this game. You can make a private region, where you own all the cities in it or invite your friends to make a town in that region, or you can make a public region anyone can join! I feel with each new game in a series (whether it be Sims, or SimCity) EA does a great job at making it more realistic. Citizens will even protest at town hall when there's a serious issue! So in conclusion, I'd definitely suggest buying the new SimCity.

*tip* Don't grow your city too fast! I grew one city so fast, that I realized with 14 people dying per day, 7 buildings burning down a day, and half of (all 2) of my schools without power, that it was time to get rid of this town, lol.
